I might change around which batards races get fey ancestry though, stay tuned. The stats include favoured class often the first thing forgotten by third party publishers and level adjustment notes for powerful half-breeds. There are lots of game rules for new half-bred races, a new type of magic and plenty of templates. Crossbreeding is about wizard PCs aand together crossbred creatures, Bastards and Bloodlines is about playable character races.

However, maps are permitted when they are accompanied by enough detail to easily be used to run a short adventure or are accompanied by enough narrative detail. No one will call the houri half elf, half nymphpiper half halfling, half satyror trixie half gnome, half pixie freaky though. These feats and prestige classes are undeniably best suited to half-breeds. Reddit automatically removes those.
The feats, spells and magic items specifically designed for half-breeds expand these possibilities further by allowing a player to revel in his choice rather than regret it. The appendix includes several tables that offer the information at a glance. There are only four chapters in this book, a brief introduction challenges Dms and players to thinks outside the norm, in a world where polymorph spells, shapeshifters and divine anf are commonplace, where dd&d combinations of Centaurs, Chimeras, Griffons, Harpies and Hippogriffs occur as part of common game play, why could these combinations also not exist?

The chapter also has a few pages of sensible advice on making your own half-breed creatures from scratch, including the how’s and why’s of mechanical sticky points like odd attribute modifiers, racial abilities, and CRs, and possible approaches to handling these issues.
Big difference in the experience awarded for killing the creature and for one trying to gain levels. The book ends with three pages of charts for the system. I can use that. I noticed something with the Houri and Spring Child, they lack the Fey Ancestry feature that elves have, I would have thought this feature would be a given for these two since both are actual half-fey. Most of these headings are self explanatory. But for those of you that can tolerate the weird factor, its very easy to plug these into an existing game because they’re exceedingly rare and can easily be explained as having existed the whole time with minimal suspension of disbelief.

I would just say that different half-breeds inherit certain characteristics from each parent and houri and spring children happen to not inherit fey ancestry. A set of tables at the beginning of the chapter summarises ECL, Ability adjustments, parents’ races, lifespans, and height and weight.
